Chronicles the evolution of American history, culture and daily life from 1690 to 1922. It includes almost 1400 publications.
Early American newspapers, often printed by small-town printers, documented the daily life of hundreds of diverse American communities, supported different political parties and recorded both majority and minority views.

Indexes and abstracts to journal articles, books and dissertations on the history of the United States and Canada. The citations are from 1964 to present, and the database is updated monthly.

Ethnic NewsWatch is a collection of newspapers, magazines, and journals published by ethnic presses, including African, African American, Arab American, Asian American, Caribbean, Eastern European, Hispanic, Jewish, Middle Eastern, Native American, and Pacific Islander presses. These titles offer a wide variety of viewpoints not offered in the mainstream press. The collection includes over 2.5 million aricles from more than 300 publications. The majority of the articles in the collection are in English, but around 25% are in Spanish.

Meets the research needs of Spanish-speaking users with a wide range of full-text Spanish and Portuguese-language scholarly journals and magazines both from and about Latin America. It  provides quality reference material on an interface configured for Spanish speakers, allowing researchers to analyze topics and conduct research in Spanish. Features bilingual citations to help non-Spanish speaking navigate easily through the database.
