The Health Professions Library Is Moving!
In January of 2026 the Health Professions Library will be moving from the Brookdale Campus (425 E. 25th Street) to its new location at 60 West Street, New York, NY. As of January 2nd, we no longer offer access to the library's print collections or use of student computers at the Brookdale Campus. Please watch this space for more information about access to the West Street location.
The Health Professions Library will continue to support the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at the 60 West Street location. For students and faculty in the School of Health Professions or in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, please note the following:
- The library's collections for the Physical Therapy program are now located at the Cooperman Library (Hunter Main Campus). You can find circulating books on the 5th floor and reserve items at the Reserves Desk (3rd floor).
- Library materials for the Medical Laboratory Sciences department are also now held at the Cooperman Library (Hunter Main Campus). Circulating books are on the 5th floor of Cooperman and reserve items are at the Reserves Desk (3rd floor).
- The library's circulating collection for the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program will also be moved to the Cooperman Library (Hunter Main Campus), 5th floor. However, please note that reserve items for SLPA courses will be kept at the CUNY Graduate Center, Mina Rees Library, Reserves Desk.
- All master's theses in the fields of Nursing and Communication Science previously held at the Health Professions Library are now located at the Cooperman Library (Hunter Main Campus), Floor B2.
During this time of transition, all Hunter College Libraries online resources will continue to be available via the library's website. For reference or research questions, please use the library's online reference service at Ask-A-Librarian. Thank you.
