Access Services
The primary goal of the department of Access Services is to make the Cooperman Library’s over 700,000 materials accessible in support of the academic mission of the College. In this regard it strives to support the Hunter community and library patrons of the City University of New York. The 3rd floor Circulation/Reserve desk circulates books, print reserves, iPads, tablets and calculators. In addition, the circulation staff provides access to materials through its electronic reserve service, ERes. Circulation staff also oversee the assignment of the majority of the Library’s group study rooms. Other functions of Access Services include stacks maintenance, processing requests for CUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Services (CLICS) and administering the Hunter College Libraries’ interlibrary loan service.
