The Cooperman Library has created designated areas for students to use when they are in need of group study and silent study environments.
Silent Study
Where: B1, B2, 1st
- Completely silent study
- No talking
- No phone conversations
- Set cell phone to silent or vibrate
Quiet Study
Where: 3, 4, 5, 6th
- Minimal talking
- Headphones enabled
- Set cell phone to silent or vibrate
The 3rd floor is considered a quiet floor with the exception of the service desk areas . Please visit a silent study floor if you are bothered by the noise in these areas.
Group Study
Where: 7th
- Conversation permitted
- Short phone calls by elevator only
- Set cell phones to silent or vibrate
Silent area is too noisy?
Help us keep your study areas quiet. If you feel uncomfortable approaching noisy users, you can request backup. From the house phone near the elevators dial 14447 for Security. Either security or library staff will investigate your report.
