Starting Fall 2026, Hunter College Libraries’ Course Reserves will be integrated directly into Brightspace. Brightspace provides students and faculty with a single platform for course readings with improved security and accessibility features.
Faculty members looking to put items on reserve may fill out a reserve request form. We ask that faculty review our Accessibility & Formatting and Copyright guidelines before submitting e-reserve requests. Once we have processed your reserve request, library staff will be in touch with information about how to upload or import your readings directly into your Brightspace page.
Students looking for readings associated with a specific course should look at the course’s Brightspace page.
All items physically on reserve (books and DVDs) are listed in the Hunter College Libraries Reserves Collections under the appropriate subcollection. Library users may check them out by requesting them by title at the appropriate Circulation Desk.
