Register for a Section of LIBR 100: Information Research for Spring 2022!

LIBR 100, Information Research, is the libraries’ one-credit course in which students learn how to hone their research topics, select appropriate databases for their topics, and evaluate the information that they find, both through Hunter’s own resources and on the free web. The course was first offered in the spring semester of 2007 and has been offered every spring and fall since then. For spring 2022, the library is offering eight sections, five asynchronous online classes and three in the classroom.

In the words of a former LIBR 100 student:

"I did not know what to expect coming into this class, I needed the credit to graduate. I wish this was a required course for freshman, as it would help them a lot throughout their journey in academia. It sets a strong foundation for research and it would give them a lot of tools to use during their college journey."
