VOILA! is a virtual library
orientation. It is designed to orient
new students to the Hunter College Libraries, our collections
and services, and teach you the basic academic library
skills you will need to succeed at Hunter College.
You will learn:

to access & navigate the Libraries’ physical
& virtual collections & services
° How to use CUNY+ to locate
books and journals
° How to read library call
numbers and use them to find books on the shelves
° How to use basic Reference
and Research Tools
Start with the following Tutorials and then take the
Test. You will need Flash Player 7 or above to view the tutorials.

Learn about call numbers and how to find books on the
library shelves.
•TAKE
THE TEST (February 22 to March 12)
Beginning on February 22nd, English 120 students can click here to take the test. The password is “english.”
This is open book, but once you start, you must finish
it and submit it.

These tutorials are best
