Search:

Find a video

Video | Text

1 Start at the Libraries' web site: http://library.hunter.cuny.edu.

2 Click CUNY+ / Books under the Find column.

3 You are now in the CUNY+ Catalog. In the Search for box, type the title of the DVD or video you are lookng for (Hamlet, in our example). Then, type the phrase "and videorecording" (without quotes) to narrow your search to videos only. Click the Search button.

4 You will now see the search results. Select the Hunter Reserve link next to an entry in the search results to obtain the call number for that video (in our example, Hamlet).

5 You will now see specific information about the video at the Hunter College Library. Scroll down the page to see the video's Call Number and Due Date.

Call Number: Write the video's call number down so you can later locate the video in the library.
Due Date: If you see a date here, the video is checked out to another student, and the date tells you when the video is due back in the library. "On Shelf" means that the video is available to loan.
