Create a RefWorks account

1 Start at the Libraries' web site:

2 Click RefWorks under the Services column.


3 Click Setup a new Refworks account.

(Note: If you create or login to a RefWorks account from an off-campus computer, you will first be prompted to authenticate yourself as a Hunter student, faculty, or staff with your Hunter email and password.)


4 You will now see the "Login to Your RefWorks Account" page. Since you do not have an account yet, click Sign Up for a New Account.


5 Fill in Step 1 of the form with the appropriate information, then click Next. Fill in Step 2 of the form, then click Create Account.


6 After clicking the Create Account button, you will be directed to your RefWorks Account page similar to the one shown below. Notice the Help button, which contains links to tutorials on how to start using RefWorks and tips on utilizing its features.
