You can only access the databases after you graduate while you are in the library. You no longer have remote access from home after graduation. To get access to the library after you graduate you must have an alumni card to replace your current Hunter ID or OneCard. Almuni cards are distributed by the alumni office, the library doesn't distribute or administer these cards in any way.

Yes, they are available at the Main Library and the Schools of Social Work and Public Health Library. Rooms can accommodate small groups of students and can be reserved for a two-hour time slot. The Hunter College Libraries have wireless internet access. All you need to do is enter your Hunter College email name (everything before the @hunter.cuny.edu) as the username and your Hunter College email password as the password.
Yes, you will need to pay for your printouts using your Hunter College OneCard. There is a OneCard Kiosk that allows you to add additional funds to your OneCard. The OneCard Kiosk is located on Floor of the Main Library in a room behind the Reference Desk. For more specific information on cost of prints click here. No, unfortunately due to hygiene concerns food is NOT allowed in the library.
If you must make a telephone call, short conversations are allowed by the main elevators on the following floors: B1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7. Slient floors B2 and 5 have zero tolerance for cell phone conversations. Other areas within the library that are also zero tolerace for all cell phone conversations ae the main stairwells.
One copy, along with a receipt of $15 from the Bursar's office, are required to submit to the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences for retaining your thesis in the library.

You can convert your Hunter RefWorks account to an individual subscription or if you have access to a new Organizational RefWorks subscription, you can move your account. To do this, select Tools, Backup/Restore and make a backup of your database. You will be prompted to save a .zip or . rwb file to your computer. In your new account, select Tools, Backup/Restore and use the restore option to add the .zip or . rwb file to your new account. You can also export your reference data in several formats using one of RefWorks Export options.

No, reserve materials must remain in the library while checked out by a patron. The loan period for reserve materials is 2 hours.
Free printing and photocopying is available (up to 300 pages per semester) for undergraduates only at the Student Resource Center, Thomas Hunter Hall, Room 202. Hour (subject to change anytime): M-F, 8am-8pm, Saturday 10am-6pm. Each semester undergraduates have a balance of 300 pages (printing and photocopying combined) that are paid for with their Student ID card. This is not in anyway connected to the OneCard accounts that are used to pay for printing/photocopying in the library and elsewhere.
