Project Censored Releases Censored 2013: Dispatches From the Media Revolution

December 18th, 2012 by David Donabedian

Project Censored’s recently published Censored 2013:  Dispatches From the Media Revolution covers a range of news stories that have been under-reported and passed over by the controlled media. This year’s volume covers “the top censored stories and media analysis of 2011-12.”  Chapter titles from Censored 2013 include

  • Censorship Backfires: A Taxonomy of Concepts Related to Censorship
  • The Police State and Civil Liberties
  • The Information War: How Government is Seeking Total Information Awareness and What This Portends for Freedom and Democracy
  • Media Democracy in Action
  • On the Road to Fukushima:  The Unreported Story Behind Japan’s Nuclear-Media-Industrial Complex
  • The Creative Tension of the Emerging Future: Facing the Seven Challenges of Humanity

Once again this year’s volume remains true to Project Censored’s vision of creating dialog in the press and providing access to little known information.
