Hofstra University in Hempstead is hosting the final presidential debate tonight. The debate will begin at 9pm. Check out Hofstra’s Debate ’08 page for more information, news and announcements.

You may want to attend the Presidential Debate Viewing Party and Pre-Debate Discussion tonight on Hunter’s campus. Here is the announcement:

SPONSORED BY THE POLITICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT & OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
And after the debate is over, head over to Fact Check, “a nonpartisan, nonprofit “consumer advocate” for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics” for an analysis of the claims, both true and false, made by each candidate.

Thanks, Sarah! I’ll be watching. I’ve become hooked on Election 2008 (powered by twitter) http://election.twitter.com/. It’s fun to see what people have to say (on both sides) second by second as the candidates are talking. Beware though – the scrolling can make you dizzy!
