New Databases of Interest to Social Work Students and Faculty

September 1st, 2011 by Philip Swan

The Hunter College Libraries continously update databases available for use by the Hunter community. The following databases have been added over the past year and should be of some interest to the Silberman School of Social Work community in particular:

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research maintains an archive of social science data available in a collection of machine readable data files.
Books in Print
Bibliographic and publisher information on over 5 million in-print, out-of-print and forthcoming book, audio and video titles.
Counseling and Therapy in Video
Streaming videos to support social work, psychotherapy, psychiatry and counseling.
