When: Mon, Aug 15. Choose from two workshop times: 3-4 PM and 4-5 PM.
Where:
Wexler Library, Hunter College, Room E114 (Floor 1).

RefWorks is a web based Citation Management tool that can help you to manage and organize your research. Use RefWorks as you search library catalogs, databases and the web to capture and import references into your own database of citations. RefWorks will automatically format your footnotes, endnotes, and works cited using standard styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) and help you create a bibliography. RefWorks can also help you work collaboratively with features like RefShare and keep up to date with research with RSS feeds.

This introductory class for students and faculty alike will teach how RefWorks can make writing papers more convenient and efficient. We’ll go over:

• creating an account
• organizing books, articles and media as you research
• citing sources and citation style guides
• generating a bibliography of works cited

Using RefWorks can streamline your research process and help you succeed. No registration is required to attend. All students and faculty are welcome. Just show up!
