Using RefWorks to Import Citations and Write a Paper (10–11 AM)
In this session, you’ll learn how to: create an account; directly import citations from two online databases; Organize citations; quickly create a bibliography. Intended for undergraduates and beginning Refworks users.
Beyond Direct Export (11–noon)
One of the easiest and most commonly used methods of adding references to your RefWorks database is called “direct export”. Using this method you can quickly save search results from hundreds of online resources such as library catalogs or databases to RefWorks.
RefWorks Best Practices for the Classroom (1–2 PM)
This session is designed for faculty, graduate students, or very advanced undergraduates. It is designed to show RefWorks best components for collaborative activity in the classroom.
RefShare and RefMobile (2–3 PM)
RefShare is a collaborative tool within RefWorks that allows users to share a folder of their citations or their entire database with anyone—whether they have a RefWorks account or not. RefMobile is an interface that enables researchers to use RefWorks from anywhere, via web-enabled mobile phones, smart phones, and PDAs.
