BIOSIS Previews database

September 16th, 2009 by blym

If you are doing research in the life sciences, be sure to try out the BIOSIS Previews database for links to journal articles, conference literature, book chapters, patents, and more.    This database  encompasses the entire field of life sciences and provides comprehensive coverage of the world’s published biological and biomedical research. This includes traditional areas of biology, such as botany, zoology and microbiology, as well as experimental, clinical and veterinary medicine, biotechnology, environmental studies, and agriculture. Interdisciplinary fields such as biochemistry, biophysics and bioengineering are also included.  This advanced database is especially useful for advanced undergraduate, graduate student and faculty researchers.

You can search this database by sequence or taxonomic data,  gene name data, CAS registry number, and by concept codes; many other search options are available.

You can access this database from the Hunter Libraries Databases page.
