The Hunter College Library is hosting an additional series of RefWorks workshops next week on Weds,. Dec. 1 in Room E609 in the main library. The presenter is Chris Horn, official trainer from RefWorks.
RefWorks is a web-based tool that allows you to
*Format bibliographies and in-text citations automatically
*Create your own database of citations, import citations directly from library databases
*Organize your citations into folders
*Access your citations from any computer, anywhere in the world.
All are welcome, no registration needed!!
Workshops, Weds. Dec. 1, E609 (6th Floor, Main Library):
RefWorks Fundamentals: 1-2pm
Covers creating a RefWorks account, importing data, organizing your database and generating a bibliography
RefWorks Advanced: 2-3pm
This session covers topics such as advanced searching, editing multiple references, viewing, printing and sorting references and more. Attendees should have a working knowledge of RefWorks’ basic features.
RefShare and RefMobile: 3-4pm
RefShare is a collaborative tool within RefWorks that allows users to share a folder of their citations or their entire database with anyone—whether they have a RefWorks account or not. RefMobile is an interface that enables researchers to use RefWorks from anywhere, via web-enabled mobile phones, smart phones, and personal data assistants. (PDAs).
