Graduate Research Workshops at the Library: November 2010

There is still time to register for the Research in the Sciences workshop coming up this Wednesday, October 27 at 1pm in the Main Library room 114.

The Hunter College Libraries are also offering the following research workshops in November:

Friday, November 5, 12-1:30pm, Main Library room 114 – Intermediate research workshop

Thursday, November 18, 5-6pm, Main Library room 609 – Intermediate research workshop

The Intermediate Research Workshops are for those students who have taken the introductory research workshop and are familiar with the basics of using the Hunter Libraries. The workshops will include:

• Introduction to advanced search techniques
• Subject-specific databases
• Identifying high-impact journals in your discipline
• Utilizing citation indexes
