John comes to us from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Library where he did reference, database searching, and library instruction on EndNote and RefWorks.  He also worked at the College of Staten Island Library.  Prior to his attending library school, he worked in the publishing industry for over 15 years in various capacities for companies such as Oxford University Press, The Quarasan Group, The Society of Actuaries, and BasicBooks, HarperCollins. 

John earned his MLS from Queens College and has a MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin.  His BA is from Cornell University, also in Comparative Literature.
