Graduate Library Workshops for the Spring Semester – Now featuring workshops in the disciplines!
Below is the schedule of Graduate Library Workshops for March 2010. Please read the workshop descriptions and register for the one (or more) most appropriate to your needs. All workshops will take place in room E609 in the Wexler (Main Campus) Library at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.

March
Research in the Humanities: Saturday March 6, 1-2:30pm
- Comparison of general databases (e.g. Academic Search Complete, JSTOR) with specialized databases (MLA, Twayne Authors Series)
- Creating good searches and interpreting database citations
- Using citations in conjunction with CUNY+ catalogue
- Introducing Ebrary
- Utilizing RefWorks and EndNote and APA, MLA, CHICAGO style sheets
Intro to Research: Thursday, March 11, 6:30-8pm
- For students who have some familiarity with online research and who are looking to go beyond the basics
Intro to the Libraries: Friday, March 12, 12-1pm
- For new students who want to learn the basic resources available to them as graduate students at Hunter College
Intro to Research: Friday March 19, 12-1:30pm
- For students who have some familiarity with online research and who are looking to go beyond the basics
