Announcing CLICS a New CUNY-Wide Interlibrary Loan Service

CLICS (CUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Services) is a recently introduced service that delivers books on request, from almost anywhere in the CUNY library system to your CUNY campus library. CLICS is easy to use, you can order books from your home computer or on-site from the CUNY+ electronic catalog. Estimated delivery is 2 to 3 days from the day the request is placed, excluding weekends and holidays. Requests for materials from Hunter’s two branch libraries, however, may take up to seven days depending on their date of shipment. The CLICS service does not allow for requesting materials from your home campus. If the book being requested is on loan at the time of the request, you may request electronically that the book is shipped to Hunter’s main library upon its return.

The library will notify patrons via email when requested materials are available for pick-up. You may return books checked-out via the CLICS service to any CUNY campus library.
